The Marie Curie STEM Center of Saint Mary’s College of California supports the success of all students in STEM classes by providing tutoring and workshops designed to foster study skills, problem solving, independence, and scientific identity, while building a supportive, collaborative, diverse, and equitable community of STEM learners. 

The Marie Curie STEM (Science Tech Engineering and Math) Center welcomes students to drop in for tutoring.

No appointments are necessary.  The Center is located on the second floor of Assumption Hall.  

Important Notice: Tutoring for Spring 2025 will begin on Sunday, February 9th. 6pm to 8pm. Hours will return to M,T,W,Th, 1 pm-8 pm and Sundays from 6pm to 8pm. 

 

STEM Center will be hosting three Math Refresher workshops for the month of February.

Weds 2/5, 6:30-7:30 pm Basic Algebra Skills
Thurs 2/6, 6:30-7:30 pm Ratios and Fractions
Weds 2/12, 6:30-7:30 pm Percentages
Thurs 2/13, 6:30-7:30 pm Logs and Exponents

Drop-in Career Center hours for Resume Building Workshops. Every Thursdays 3-4pm

Additional Resources

We have a variety of iPads, PC laptops, and calculators available for checkout short-term or long-term. These are a better option than borrowing from ITS or the library if you need to install specific software for classes. Please email Magaly at ma19@castingmoldingmachine.com to request a loan.
